TNT Both hard-tissue replacement and drug-delivery can be achieved via anodic oxidation/electrospun coating in Titanium-implants. The order and size of the titanium oxide nanotubes which facilitate drug-delivery, are both controllable. For prevention of the local bacterial infection, Vancomycin loading is possible. To prevent explosive release, nano-polymeric cords can be placed on the oxidized titanium nanotubes.

Abstract In-situ synthesis of porous g-C3N4/SnO2 catalyst by fast microwave-assisted method was done. Sn derivatives in the condensation step triggered simple pyrolysis of urea to C3N4. The visible-light catalyst had high potential for clean energy production.

HVOF NiCoCrAlY coating is more resistant to 1000°C air-oxidation than CoNiCrAlY. The main protecting phase on NiCoCrAlY is α-Alumina. Oxidation of CoNiCrAlY initially is sub-parabolic; while finally parabolic.

Ni-Pd-CNTFoamy nanocatalysts of Ni-Pd-CNT were synthesized by electroless deposition method. BET results indicated specific surface areas as high as 611.3 m2/g for Ni-Pd-CNTs. TPR and TPO activation energies reduced with addition of Pd-CNT to the Ni foam. At 850 °C, Ni-Pd-0.1CNT nanocatalyst increased methane conversion rate up to 85 %. Ni-Pd-0.1CNT resulted in 22% higher methane conversion than Ni-MgO catalyst.
